SYN - FLEX

Approximately 25-30% of family pets suffer from arthritis. Broadly described by most veterinarians as DJD (degenerative joint disease), arthritis in pets is just as painful and debilitating as it is in humans. Below is a list of the different types of Arthritis your pet may have. Syn-flex® is effective in aiding each of these conditions without harmful side effects:

Osteoarthritis
Degenerative Joint Disease
Hip Dysplasia

Elbow dysplasia

Knee dysplasia
Knee (stifle joint)
Osteochondrosis
Hypertrophic arthritis
Shoulder degeneration
Wrist Arthritis (carpi)
Kneecap dislocation
Osteoarthritis is a chronic, slowly progressing condition that is caused by the breakdown and destruction of your pet's cartilage. As that occurs, the bony structures begin to rub against one another causing pain and discomfort.

Degenerative Joint Disease involves some kind of a breakdown or destruction in portions of the joint, usually cartilage. Just as in the case of osteoarthritis, this condition does not necessarily mean that your pet is experiencing any inflammation.

Hip Dysplasia is characterized by a malformed "ball and joint" socket in your animal. As you might expect, this ill-fitting combination causes a series of complications. Here, chronic inflammation is common; calcium build-ups occur; there is muscle pain; and the tissue in the surrounding areas begin to break down.

Elbow Dysplasia is a like condition that is typically hereditary and most generally found in larger breeds of dogs. Bones become malformed and usually results in "bone chips" that are very painful. Typically, your pet will exhibit some lameness when suffering from this condition.

Knee (dysplasia) is also characterized by malformed bones and bone "chips." It is painful and often obviates itself since the pet is lame and/or limping as the condition progresses.

Knee (stifle) joint typically involves torn ligaments which cause instability in the joint. Dislocation of the (knee) joint is also a problem. Inflammation is common since this is a joint that is subjected to a lot of stress and strain. In most cases it is a result of poor breeding.

Osteochondrosis is a condition where you are contending with a medical condition that results from poor breeding. Improper or inadequate diet can also cause this condition (both factors may be at play). It is characterized by cartilage deterioration and tissue is generally both inflammed and painful.

Hypertrophic arthritis involves excessive bone growth and/or "spurs" on the joints themselves. In such situations, the pet is typically experiencing a lot of pain.

Shoulder (degeneration) is usually a multi-factorial situation making a clear-cut cause difficult to isolate. An unstable joint, osteochondrosis or even trauma may be the cause.
(Or, a combination of factors).

Wrist arthritis (carpi) might be compared to "carpal tunnel syndrome" seen in humans. Usually, this area of the pet's body is affected more frequently with pets who are very active.

Kneecap (dislocation) is usually caused by poorly formed leg bones which secondarily, allows the kneecap to move or "pop" out of its normal position. Usually, this is either an inherited condition or results from poor breeding.

If your pet has been diagnosed with any of the above or is at risk to develop arthritis, we would recommend learning about Syn-Flex® for pets, a breakthrough pet arthritis supplement.

While other companies rushed to the market to capture their share of the Glucosamine market and profits, saying they would improve their product later, we took our time and developed Syn-flex®, a product unique and unlike anything else on the market. Using a technique under the strictest of quality-controlled conditions, we manufactured a formula containing a pharmaceutical quality liquid Glucosamine Sulfate and Glucosamine HCL plus ten other beneficial, complimenting ingredients. We came up with Syn-flex® , one of the most effective supplement for Arthritis and hip dysplasia in pets available. It doesn't just ease the pain, it slows the progression of the disease by rebuilding proteoglycan molecules which renew the supply of synovial fluid in your pet's joint, rehabilitating the cartilage and allowing your pet to move without pain.

Note: Syn-flex® is safe and does not have the potentially fatal side effects of products such as Rimadyl.

Glucosamine has been clinically proven to not only slow the progress of OA, even more importantly it will actually begin the process of rehabilitating the damage that has been done. Used according to the schedule that has been set up here in terms of dosage, Syn-flex® provides the same high level of pharmaceutical quality glucosamine that it delivers to humans. And ten other ingredients that all go toward the restoration of healthy articular cartilage in your pet.

Most joint care products on the market today contain low to medium-grade Glucosamine Sulfate or Glucosamine HCL. Syn-flex® is not just Glucosamine Sulfate, and by no means is it medium quality. Syn-flex® contains pharmaceutical quality Glucosamine Sulfate and Glucosamine HCL plus ten other ingredients formulated for maximum pain relief, cartilage protection, and joint health.

Here is a breakdown of 1/4 oz. of Syn-flex®. The dosage for your pet may be higher or lower depending on weight, according to the chart at the bottom of this page.

1250 mg Glucosamine HCL and Glucosamine Sulfate
25 mg Shark Cartilage (20% Chondroitin Sulfate)
8 mg Boswellin
3 mg Yucca Powder
5 mg Manganese (Ascorbate)
1 mg Bromelaine
5 mg Vitamin C
5 mg Omega 3 Fatty Acid
1.6 mg Omega 6 Fatty Acid
80 IU Vitamin A
2 IU Vitamin E

So how do these ingredients work together to provide maximum relief?

Glucosamine is a charged sugar molecule that is a key component of the extra cellular matrix of cartilage. It absorbs and releases water with each step, thereby acting as a shock absorber for the joints. With more glucosamine, there is more joint protection. It is the essential and principal ingredient that determines the quantity of proteoglycan (water-holding) molecules that are formed in the body. The proteoglycans are large, water-binding molecules made up of (both) proteins and sugars. These are a major building block of healthy, vital cartilage. Glucosamine also stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans (GAG's) which are important proteins found in cartilage. They serve to "bind" the water within the cartilage matrix, slowing the deterioration of your joints, and easing your pain.

Shark Cartilage provides a source of chondroitin sulfate (20%) which works synergistically with glucosamine to assist in rehabilitating the cartilage that is damaged in your body. Our studies indicate that the use of shark cartilage improves the absorption of the glucosamine.

Chondroitin Sulfate serves to attract fluids into proteoglycan molecules which assists you in two ways. First, it draws nutrients into your cartilage. Secondly, it increases the flow of fluid into your cartilage to add resiliency. It also serves to protect existing cartilage from premature degeneration by blocking "bad" enzymes that destroy cartilage and as well, prevent nutrient replenishment. Chondroitin sulfate is a naturally occurring component of cartilage that aids in the lubrication and cushioning of joints. Chondroitin also provides structure and flexibility to your joints.

Manganese Ascorbate is a mineral that enhances the effectiveness of both glucosamine and chondroitin sulfates and synthesizes the production of healthy cartilage. It is essential for a healthy immune system and aids in the production of mucopolysaccharides, which are critical for maintaining healthy joints.

Yucca has a lengthy history in easing stiff joints by blocking compounds that prevent the normal formation of cartilage. The root is rich in saponins that elevate your body's ability to produce "natural" cortisone. Yucca also helps to block the release of toxins from the intestines that inhibit the normal function of cartilage. Yucca also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Bromelain helps to inhibit pro-inflammatory compounds which reduce pain and swelling. Unlike aspirin, bromelain does not inhibit the production of prostaglandins, essential to healthy joints.

Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids act as anti-inflammatory agents. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA, and ALA) are found in fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring, tuna, halibut, anchovies, and rainbow trout and soybean oil, flaxseed oil, and walnut oil. Omega-6 fatty acids (lineolic acid) comes from various common vegetable oils. The body converts lineolic acid into GLA which can help reduce joint inflammation.

Boswellin has been used for centuries in the Indian Ayurvedic system of medicine to maintain healthy joints. Boswellic acids improve blood supply to the joints and maintain the integrity of blood vessels. At least one study has indicated that they may open up collateral blood circulation to provide a more adequate blood supply to your joints. Boswellin also serves to reduce swelling and improve mobility where individuals experience stiffness in the joints.

Vitamin A (Beta Carotene) is essential for growth and repair of body tissues and it also aids in bone formation, and at the same time protecting against deterioration.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) mobilizes your body's self-defense mechanisms that in turn, assist your immune system in overcoming disease. It is also a powerful antioxidant required to produce collagen, which is the main supportive protein in cartilage, tendon, and connective tissue. Collagen is the protein that "holds our bodies together" and is critical to the structure and integrity of healthy joints and also protects against bone deterioration.

Vitamin E (Tocopheral) is an antioxidant that acts to protect red blood cells and unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation damage. It also assists your body in maintaining healthy membrane tissue.

Syn-flex® contains a unique blend of ingredients found in no other product on the market today. Our one-of-a-kind liquid formula, our high-quality glucosamine HCL and glucosamine sulfate, and our ten complementing ingredients has resulted in a formula like no other that not only works, but works fast. Say good-bye to your joint pain and osteoarthritis.
